I dont live in the US. But what i expected was that they would implement Ai in those devices that scan or work directly on blood, and also in routine task in organizations. And i also expected some patient communication via Ai chat which feeds directly of your securely stored medical record. So that all advice would have your blood work, your medical statistics, weight, gender, height medical history etc as a foundation for the advice it offers. So while expected it to suggest tests, I expected a price comparison engine similar to pricerunner or kelkoo to provide you with the cheapest options at any time. So AI would suggest diagnosis, but not any provider of test or treatment.
Yes, this is something most people dont undertand when they see the TV series. There was much more propaganda in the original stories. In the Eye of Appolo, a woman is tricked into removing her glasses by an evil new age man, and i therefore found dead in an elevator shaft. She fell down. And the new age con man of course has ulterior motives. So because she was blind to God in a way, she ended up dead. Of course, if you are very Christian, this would seem true to you. But for most other people, it would indeed be very annoying. They have stripped the TV series completely of this propaganda subtext. But Father Brown is historically a very very important character.
I recorded a story with religious overtones. It is a little sad. It’s by Edward Bellamy. I didn’t actually record all it. I modified the librivox file, simplified language and added an intro. Bellamy’s outline is actually a masterpiece. But his sentences prevent you from grasping it. Here it is

This is very interesting, they have entered Ai into the bureaucracy, in stead of other places. They haven’t done what i thought they would do. The Ai people are feeding off health budgets by pushing products. I didnt expect this.
I was concerned about this because of the huge size of Greenland and the small size of the local population. But I see they cannot expand with new bases without consent? And therefore an unwarranted expansion will be an attack on their sovereignty, just like attack would be without an agreement. But what i now see is that Greenland has lost its right to independence because i see they place provisions on commitments Greenland would not be able to deal with without Denmark? So it in a sense binds Greenland and Denmark closer, which is the opposite of what we have seen.
The way I see it, the money is taken from education and health care in the US and spent on European defense. 1. We don’t agree with the US in many of their wars, why should we then be dependent on the US in defense and why should the US pay? 2. I think the AI revolution may bring uncertainty in the employment market, and that part of the motivation for strange US policies may have something to do with an anticipation of uncertainty. I am not supporting antagonism, I am just saying that this is both in Eu interest AND in US interest that Eu defense spending increases, war or no war. Finally, the long expected shift towards the Asia pacific region is also a fact. The center of the world economy has moved towards Asia.
