    I don’t know for sure, but I’m guessing it’s a response to the proliferation of AI slop pet pics and videos on the internet.

      W-w-why would we need AI images of pets - there are already so many, which are cute and cuddly and REAL, are these made by crazy people or something? (Genuinely asking)

        Facebook is full of them. Usually they’re doing something unusual. I guess it’s just engagement bate.

          I guess it makes sense then why people share them here. Sadly it still makes no sense to waste all that water making them in the first place:-(. Whatever happens in the future irt climate change, I cannot help but keep thinking: we (collectively, as humanity) deserve our fate.
