- having an account on some other server
- running your own server just for news feeds etc
- running your own server for staff
- posting native AP articles ala #ghost

I think this model is the future for all media, but without a middleman and automatically distributed based on time spent listening (or reading or watching etc). but the fan decides how much they give per month, while if we get the total given to get high enough, more and more artists adopt the model. also, FW needs to get artist focused. they could replace Bandcamp. lot of pieces still need to get built but maybe we could organize to make this happen. #ccmusic

sportsbots.xyz exists and is great. if we want this place to be great for sports, it has to have lots of people who want to talk about them. so it can’t make anyone who isn’t lefty feel unwelcome. that an honest comment expressing a commonly held view in society could lead to harassment and/or defederation. we all have sports loving family members who while they’d never troll anyone, we’d never invite here because of their politics. that’s the main deterrent to our growth imo.
