Great, ublue is a really interesting Linux evolution.
I also created my own custom immutable distro based on ublue but with hyprland instead of gnome. So I can use it as I wish out of the box without needing to tweak it. It is called blupr and it is on github.
I’m using the regular bluefin, not DX, and yes I am able to install any gnome extension.
Same here, since I have found those immutable fedora based distros I never looked back, no more distro hoping. I am gaming with bluefin with an NVIDIA GPU and it is just good.
LINUX IS AN EXPERIENCE NOT SOMETHING TO ENDLESSLY DEBATE ABOUT.
Same here, since I tried ublue, I can’t go back, it just works without a headache. I even made, very easily because of their great tools, my own personal ublue based “distro” which has all I need out of the box. I really like the immutable/flatpak concept and the ability to make your own version of it easily.
Not Debian, it is how the arch Linux distros boot after the grub menu.
They can change the default settings as long as they leave the option to change it available.
I have been running CachyOs for some months and I really like it, it is a clean and fast distro based on arch with many DE. You could give it a try on a live usb at least.
The first one
Then is it better to use element over signal as decentralised apps may be more sustainable for long term use ?
Are decentralised apps like element much less expensive ?
No idea about that
These two are the ones I ve been using for years when I don’t download torrents. Enjoy and please share your experience.
Yes I am using it on Linux and it works as well as it used too, there is also Stremio which is good too. (Look for popcorn-official on GitHub for windows, Mac and linux updated 11 hours ago!) Enjoy
Why don’t you try Popcorn time instead ?
I installed CasaOs on Debian with a one line command on a laptop with a brocken screen, then from another laptop on my network I installed jellyfin within Casa Os app store, I plugged my multimedia hard drive, now everyone at home can watch movies and shows from their device
My own sauce because it’s not cooked, without vinegar and hotter.
