It’s insane that disposables with lithium ion batteries are legal.

I’d recommend some CLI utility to a beginner over Python: pandoc, ffmpeg, image magic…
I hope RSS feeds never die. Antennapod forever.
I just realized the other day that I haven’t typed !g
in months.
This is the closest thing I’ve heard of that does some sort of casting. AFAIK it doesn’t replace chromecast. I’ve never actually used it.
My solution to this since my house is small is to use an amp that supports multiple speakers that all the devices connect to and then wire speakers through the house. I’ve thought about connecting the amp to a small computer and streaming the audio to my sheds using ROC. The neat thing about this solution is I can play my records and tapes too and listen to them seamlessly between rooms.
If you like Doom Metal you have to listen to Witch Mountain.
Same. I’ve had a few big config purges and migrations every few years, but I’m always neovim.
I started using Neovide as a frontend so people could follow what I’m doing (it adds animated cursor movement, etc.) I actually found that I really like it and rarely use a terminal to run neovim now.
I switched over to GrapheneOS a couple months ago and couldn’t be happier. If you have a Pixel the switch is really easy. The biggest obstacle was exporting my contacts from my google account.
One of the goals of neovim was to introduce tools to build a GUI around vim. Imo the terminal is by far the best option, but there are some fun options. Neovide is an interesting one. Mostly because it doesn’t do too much – just eye candy.
A lot of posts in here complaining about shitty commercial radio. Do you all not have local radio stations? I love my local stations.
Lol everyone should go read the couple of posts on the community / magazine with the same name. Hilarious seeing people so triggered by people pointing out that the name is a bit problematic.
After you explained it a bit further in another comment it was pretty obvious you didn’t mean cryrocurrencies. I really did latch onto “crypto” as cryptocurrency, unfortunately the case for a lot of people.
The trend towards subscription services for basic features is garbage and replacing controls which should be easily accessible with a touchscreen is stupid if not outright dangerous.
Also isn’t a Tesla kind of a “premium” vehicle? For mass adoption they should be affordable without all the silly add-ons that will be woefully our of date in 5 years.
I don’t want to own a car that could cost 1k+ dollars to replace the headlights.
Yes, we all know crypto and scalability go hand in hand /s
What’s the advantage of running this server side?
The thought of mega corps polluting the night sky with satellites makes me so bummed.
