Lennin’s “state and revolution” and accepting China as a communist country are in conflict with each other. Most tankies or “Marxist-Lenninist” are distorting both Marx and Lennin. Communism in one country can not exists for long without a global overthrow of the capitalist class. Yes, the state in these various countries control the economy more or less, but who controls the state? My assertion, and most other Trotskyists, is that its not the workers.

I really like AB. I run it in a container and access it through a VPN. The only problem I’ve run into is that it sometimes won’t download new episodes of podcasts. I have to restart the container or manually check. Anyone know what’s going on?
Use shift+control+v to paste. Shift+control+c to copy in the terminal. It’s this way because control+c in the terminal is to break out of the currently running process.

I think chromebooks are pretty locked down these days. The old ones you can unlock and install Linux on the bare metal are underpowered. 4g RAM and 64g storage typically. I use one as a touch screens for home Assistant and to run Pihole.
I would recommend a Think Pad with 4 cores and 8g RAM from eBay. Should be plenty for your use case and cheap. I have a 10 or 12 year old idea pad that I use about the same way you do and it still running great with PopOs.
