They gave it a link to the paper, not the text of the paper. So it probably couldn’t actually access the URL and just pulled from its training.

That doesn’t really follow logically… a 15 year old can find the mistakes a 5 year old makes. The detection system might be something other than an LLM, while the LLM might be gpt2.
But yes humans write messily so trying to detect ai writing when it’s literally trained on humans is a losing battle and at this point completely pointless.
Kinda yes, but in actuality no. Unless we get rid of the nickel as well, the treasury is required by law to replace the pennies removed from circulation with nickels. Nickels cost even more to mint, as a percentage of their value, than pennies, so it’s actually going to cost the taxpayers even more money.
But yes we no longer have to deal with pennies. Turns out we should actually get rid of dimes and quarters too, but that ain’t gonna happen anytime soon.
You used to be able to hold alt and right click and choose open.
That isn’t a Mac error message. It’s Roblox giving you that error.
Transcription software has existed for decades and has no need for AI. It doesn’t need to interpret anything you’re saying, shoving AI into it is literally just making things worse.
I do not think the majority of people would agree that chat is a textual representation of a conversation. It’s its own thing and this is evident by slang, leetcode, emoticons, emoji, and euphemisms (🍆💦). How people talk over text is completely different than how they speak in real life, especially when they’re typing fast.
No that was the exact right use case for it.
I mean that literally appletv. Barely costs more than a Roku and is vastly better than every other device on the market.
I have a Hyundai ioniq 5 and it definitely has touch buttons for some of the things, like climate control.
The fcc has no authority over YouTube TV since it’s not broadcast. Doesn’t really matter what the FCC wants until Congress explicitly adds the power for them to control non-broadcast media. And oh boy will that not be good.
Yeah anyone who used Skype at the time immediately knew what went wrong
And now you switch to Firefox. The better browser for years at this point.
I’ve been using jellyfin for like 7-9 years and have never had that happen lol.
edit: apparently jellyfin hasn’t existed that long so I must have been using it since the day it came out 😂 I know I started using it the moment Plex took apps or plugins or whatever it was and made them paid. I realized it was being enshittified and immediately left.
I do like macOS, if your comment was aimed at me. In fact it’s my favorite OS. The default switcher is terrible. It’s pointless to talk about something if you think it’s perfect. This article wouldn’t even exist if that were the case. The best solution to the default switcher is literally to not use it, because it doesn’t make sense in any workflow. AltTab solves it.
The app is called AltTab. I’m literally a Mac user.
Yes it can
You’re right but people don’t care. That’s why you’re getting downvoted. In any case it’s not like it matters, does a slogan or code of conduct actually stop a company from doing shady shit? Anyone that brings it up is just doing so because they don’t really understand the situation.
There are so many services for formatting sources…why use an LLM for this?
