Whoa, I’d be careful sharing that you did that, it’s still the internet. But maybe I’m being overly careful.

Why not? Which person owning multiple companies would be disadvantaged in a way that could be considered unfair in this way?
This seems a horrible way to wake up.
Powerful and saddening. It does feel like, as an artist, everything revolves around how good others think you are. I try to go around it by only performing others people’s work, but also then, you’re dependent on those people wanting to work with you or not. Still dependent. Always dependent, as an artist, which is so so heavy.
I do enjoy these writeups. Really makes the project come alive.
this is a man who ran afowl of his home country’s laws about pornography.
Afoul, surely?
The icon for media reminds me of a bidet on a floor plan.
These are great writeups.
Despite corruption, try looking for which parties spread the least hatred. That’s a good start, surely?
Strange how it isn’t on f-droid… I’ve come to expect all open-source apps to be on there, probably naively.
It’s never the managers who suffer first, is it?
While there’s something to be said for Android vs iPhone from an ideological standpoint, that also doesn’t apply for KDE and Gnome, both of which are OSS, bay-bee

I thought all third party apps already stopped working?
What’s SOC?
Shame, it’s worked perfectly for me for many years. No idea what went wrong with you, of course, and it doesn’t sound like you’re up for troubleshooting. Oh well, hope you have a better time with Google or Apple stuff!
Uh, but…OsmAnd is a phone app. So you’re saying you used the website on your phone’s browser, then? I’m not sure if that has an offline function, though I never used it myself. Does it say it has that function? Otherwise I think you will have to install an app, first.
Maybe you downloaded the offline map files, but had nothing to open them with. Apps use their own versions of the map files, by the way, those files you download from the website are for other use-cases.
Strange, it’s been very very reliable for many years, for me. Did you use OsmAnd?
A friend of mine who’s a professional singer got told by his former conductor upon firing him, “well, see, if a violinist has a bad instrument he can just replace it. But in the case of a singer, well, it’s just not so easy.” Very roundabout and very crushing.
