Yeah I forgot to mention I am using old.reddit. Combined with uBO, I’ve never seen ads or suggestions.

Are you browsing on a desktop? I don’t see ads and suggested communities/posts with UbO enabled.
Thank you! I’ll check out those repair kits.
Anyone know how I can fix this crack/chip on my guest bathroom tub? I’m still working with builder to see if it can be covered with my warranty, but I’d like to be prepared to fix it myself if they don’t. It’s around 2 inches and located on the area where the side and bottom of the tub meet.
Puzzles. Mini crosswords, wordle, etc.
Use Alexandrite’s 2-column view if you browse on a desktop. Much more efficient than the default interface.
Only the bots they like are allowed.
Because lemmy (forums) is built for following discussions, while mastodon (microblogging) is built for following people. Unless you’re popular and have many followers, you’ll have better engagement in a forum because people follow the topic being discussed, not the person discussing the topic.
That’s definitely something that goes into your resume and should be mentioned in interviews if you ever pursue that line of work.
Same. After years of neglect, I finally had everything fixed at the same time. After 2 years of dental work and thousands spent out-of-pocket, I now floss and brush religiously.
I believe Firefox is installed by default on Mint, so install uBO.
Transmission.
Veracrypt.
Audacious.
Haven’t gone out yet, but we’re looking at a counter-height table. Square for the aesthetic but might just go for a reactangle for more useable space. Definitely not looking at getting a massive one.
Shop for a dining furniture set that sits 4 people. We just eat at the kitchen bar but since we’re having guests for the first time next month, we need a proper dining table.
Are they also running experiments on the AITA, AIO, etc. subs? Because I feel like 90% of the posts there are fiction.
On a related note, what’s everyone’s opinion on the first 3 episodes of Andor S2? I’ve seen very polarizing feedback, with people either hating it or appreciating the world building and exposition.
I’m bad at haggling but I try to do it when buying used items on online marketplaces.
As long as they can’t be bought or paid for, I don’t think it’s a very bad thing.
I don’t remember my dreams more than a couple of days back let alone immediately after waking up most of the time, so the most recent one I remember was 2 nights ago. I was singing Still A Friend of Mine as a duet with Maysa Leak and while singing, she was scratching away a piece of dry skin on my forehead.
I don’t even see what point you’re trying to make. All I said in my first comment is that having the car drive itself from the factory to your house saves Tesla the hassle of delivering it to you, and it will put unnecessary miles and wear & tear on the car before you even get to drive it.
That was my first comment right? Now look at your reply to that. So I explained that a car can be delivered to your house on a flatbed truck where it won’t put on said unnecessary miles and wear & tear. No imaginary special concierge needed to pick you up and take you to a dealership to get your car. Do you agree? If yes, then I think the conversation has reached a conclusion.
lemm.ee mostly leaves it up to the user to block communities and instances, so you get wider initial reach. The admin is cool too and keeps the instance maintained regularly.
