So yes I got synapse installed and I use element as a client but when I tried to register an account it wants to send me an email from my own server and since port 25 is blocked.

Where did you host your Matrix server? I was using Hetzner but they block port 25 for email.

What I notice also is that if you keep feeding it with info about your problem and have discussion it will eventually figure it out.

Use chat gpt to help you install it , I used it sometimes and it help me to understand it a lot.

What I heard some people said about the fediverse was that before email was controlled by big corporations you can host your own email and no issues. Nowadays its much harder for a regular person to do this because big corporations took control of the federated email. So to my understanding even this social networks are in danger of the same thing happening. Please anyone correct me if I am wrong.
