The company’s PCs were running XP, but had Windows 7 Pro license stickers on their back. I wrote down a few license codes for using them at home. One of those is now my Windows 11 Pro license.

The point is: Oracle did not accept my credit card for unknown reasons. I wanted to pay, they refused. Ok, will spend my money at Hetzner.
I like it. As an IT guy I tried to set up my own instance and failed because the guides and READMEs are shit. So I chose the idiot proof way, now here I am. I’m missing the content, but hey, we Redditors just joined. Let’s wait a while.

So if you search for !lemmy_support@lemmy.ml and wait about 1-2 minutes, nothing happens? Because that was the way to connect my own instance. I still cannot subscribe (‘subscription pending’), but I assume that’s a software bug.
