$140 – the Kobo Clara BW (black and white/e-ink) is clutch. Dark mode, plays well with calibre, a wide range of supported formats, and way more storage and battery life than you’ll ever need.

Edit: it is one of the first devices to utilize the E Ink Carta 1300 screen. It’s filled with e-books from Annas Archive loaded by Calibre on Debian and never complained about compatibility.

It’s a glorified crawler that is incredibly inefficient. I don’t use it because I’ve been programmed to be picky about my sources and LLMs haven’t.

Btdigg is THE search engine of torrents. Magnet links are good. I dont know what you’re consuming, but become familiar with the popular/safe groups for your use case.

I had this issue. A laptop with a single ssd was configured as raid 0 in bios out of the box. Changed it – debian immediately recognizes the drive.
