  • I nowadays I don’t see much benefit of dedicated Android apps in these cases (clients of hosted content). If your webapp works well for mobile browsers than making it a pwa is not much more than adding a single file and it feels pretty native to me. So you safe tons of development work. Or am I missing on something?

  • Not sure if it helps you, but I think it’s worth looking into. element is using “legacy call” and element x is using the new “element call” which are incompatible. So you can never call from Mobile element to element x. The Web and desktop version supports both afaik. I never tried a HS other than synapse, soi unfortunately can’t help further.

  • Thanks for the post and the last one. I finally understood, what prowlarr is doing! What I don’t get: which program is moving the files from the town folder to the respective media folder? Is it Sonarr/radarr? Because they don’t seem to have the right access for that. Another question, which I always wanted to ask: let’s say I have two computers, one at home which should host jellyfin and the other computer is remote in a network in which I don’t bother about VPN for torrent. How would you set this up? And which services belong to which PC? So, does Sonarr etc needs to be on the first or second one?

  • Yes exactly, when looking for it I find only Arduino kits. Some time ago I got interested in pine64, was reading a while and bought a soc board plus some stuff around it (like a touch screen and emmc storage). Turned out that particular board didn’t come with the display output and to install a system on emmc you need an UART Adapter, so I ended up buying more stuff, which I was missing. Don’t want to do the same again ^^

With esp32 I have the problem that there are so many different and I don’t see how they differ (except the price)
