This place really is growing on me

I second this so hard, I remember being a kid and going on the Ask.com forums… it was really special how tight the circle felt. I could just see the same users again and again, and you never ran into slurs or offensive comments just because of how well we all knew each other. It was like a town

Now me, I’ve been sitewide banned from Reddit for some ban evasion bullshit that I didn’t even do, and I’m still sad about that. But here, I’m getting that same feeling back after having learned long ago that Ask.com was history

Yeah, you’re right. The transition from being a terminally online Redditor and now being banned from it makes you realize just how much of your life has been consumed by it

I mean, I almost got the Grass Toucher achievement for crying out loud

In some ways, I guess it’s not so bad to have the opportunity to see past it

I’ve been recently sitewide banned for alleged ban evasion, the ban in question being a 3-day ban from r/youll_be_banned. Why on earth I’d ever evade that ban, it’s beyond me. Obviously I didn’t do that, but the automated system didn’t like me I guess

I mean I WAS always more of a poster than a commentor, so if this article is true then maybe it does make sense why I got unlucky

I’m going to submit my second appeal once I’ve worked up the courage. Genuinely just here for emotional support

I also got banned for ban evasion, except I didn’t even do it. It was a 3 day ban in r/youll_be_banned where getting banned is literally the punchline, so I had zero reason to even evade that, so like why would I??

Anyway I should probably include all of the above logic in my next appeal whenever I feel up to it

Whenever I have small interesting little pieces of trash (like a toothpaste cap, the spring from a dried out pen, handle from an old razor etc) I now have dedicated craft drawers to keep those knick knacks in

Now whenever I want to make cool little sculptures or crafts, I have a generous collection of various shapes and materials that I can make them out of

Also helps save on whatever extra apoxie sculpt I would have needed
