Definitely in chronological order of release as the other comment says, but make sure to find the despecialized edition fan re edit which brings the high quality changes to the resolution and sound, but leaves the movies as they were originally shown without the terrible edits from Lucas in the late 90s.

Also, feel free to skip all of the sequels. They are nonsensical and self defeating with every successive installment. I gave the episode 7 a pass on their rehashing of the original and was excited to see a female hero taking up the mantle, but 8 and 9 just undo any positive or coherent story/message structure that could have spun from 7.

Part of it has been how it is/was taught. Math was always the subject I had to work harder on than any other. The problem is that I was never taught to really conceptualize the problems. Once I started taking physics and real world applications came into play, it all sort of clicked and got much easier.

Edit: Also, math is really all about relationships and conceptualizing interesting problems or ideas. If it had been presented to me that way, I think I would have been more adept at it earlier.

Yeah I get that. The clip type are pretty easy. I know the more expensive ones can be kind of wrapped over part of your ear which may be even better, these ones just go over your earlobe and they work for me but I could see how they could be too loose or tight for people

The more affordable soundcore version of those Bose clip on ear headphones. I thought they looked cool when I saw one of my colleagues come into work with them so I ordered them that same day. I now have two pair, bought my girlfriend a pair, and can’t think of how I lived my life with headphones actually going into my ear lol.

To create fear, distrust, confusion, anger, distraction, and validate the base’s hatred of whichever “outgroups” are being blamed for everything. If you fit a profile, they put you in a box. Edit: We’ve been fucked since Marbury v. Madison and the electoral college, but the idea of a less dogmatic approach to the constitution from the get go has its upsides. Way too late for that and I’m thinking in terms of future societies building off of what might have been done better.

One of the few things I agree with Thomas Jefferson concerning the actual functioning of the US government is that the Constitution should be revisited and updated more often. It would definitely encourage greater awareness of the document and keep many from both (1) having it used as a dogmatic/pseudoreligious excuse to fit into whatever narrative the oligarchs hope to push and (2) failing to enshrine fundamental liberties in a national codex.

As it is, we’re way too far gone for that shit and I think a complete restructuring is in order, which I don’t think will happen in our current union. Gonna take some major change and pain to get there.

What is the trade off between privacy and security and potential use by any enforcement agency in apprehending who they consider to be bad actors? How much of the resources of those agencies are actually allocated to taking down real threats to actual people vs protecting moneyed interest?

Seriously, lol. Just lecture if you’re gonna lecture. I hate playing hide the ball with my own students because it’s just a waste of time for everyone involved.

Absolutely. Small group is a must. I think the variations with seminars (always around 20 because universities want to maximize their profits) and lecture halls are terrible.

I see it working with 10ish people at the absolute max.

I don’t like the Socratic method as it is employed in classrooms. I think the method of questioning is fine, and dissecting a subject can be fun with the right group and foreknowledge, but most instructors absolutely suck at making sure all students are up to speed with whatever is being discussed.

I don’t see its value as a teaching tool without a strong enough instructor to prepare the students for its use and to guide the discussions in a productive manner.

Every professor I’ve ever had who used this method basically wasted class time with fill in the blank response questions. These are not higher order thinking discussions and do nothing to actually broaden understanding of whichever subject is being discussed. It seems like a cop out for the professor to me, at least how I’ve seen it used in multiple major universities.

I’ve had better Socratic discussions while high as fuck with my buddies after class than when we were actually in the lecture hall.
