For you, I’d recommend trying Logseq. It wasn’t for me, but feature-wise it might be what you’re looking for.
Failing that, using todo.txt for your notes might work better. However, the only usable app on iOS for this is SwiftoDo, and you would need to figure out how to sync the file yourself.
yt-dlp supports passing on cookies from your browser, oncw you’ve logged in at least once.
There’s also GrayJay on Android.

The boot issue is definitely hardware related. The machine doesn’t even power on the display before restarting.

I used to use μLauncher and KISS Launcher. The former is available on Accrescent, while the latter looks nice.
