You’re adding piles of nonsense ontop of nonsense.
None of it actually gets you closer to your objective.
Reduce and simplify. k8s and whatever the hell it is you’re doing is very much the opposite of that. enjoy yaml hell.
bro just run the fucking container.
That sounds heavy and complicated. Terraform + plain docker is super easy and makes the machines trivial to replace, as well redeploying updating their containers without downtime.
And I don’t have to learn a damn thing about systemd’s nonsense. Nor do I have to learn a single bit of k8s yaml braindamage.

We should be making soup out of them.
Yaknow, now that I know its tightly coupled to systemd I especially don’t care about podman. Thank you genuinely for resolving any curiosity about it, however.

2·3 days agoIf I recall, it was something Ed Zitron said but I can’t find the quote, so it might not be. The implication that the cost of delivering that $20 user account was approximately $1800 worth of compute.

3·3 days agoIts not consumers they charge.
They were talking about businesses budgeting about 50% of a developer salary per developer on tokens.
A consumer $20 claude code account gets about $1800 worth of tokens, iirc.

Please inform yourself of the adjacency of lobbyist centers and capital hill.
Politicians don’t write shit, they get given frameworks and proposals from lobbyists and “industry leaders”, sometimes they get made into law directly without edit, especially when it comes to smaller ordinances.
There are designated handlers from the larger lobby groups for designated politicans and congress-critters.
They should wear jumpsuits like nascar, maybe you and the public would understand it better.
Edit: Looking at the rest of your replies you’re getting downvoted to oblivion for denying reality.
