Still waiting for the news that they took down old.reddit. Without the third party apps, that was the only way it could still be usable.
I like video games :)

Another streaming service that started around the same time as Netflix’s. More focused on TV shows and now owned by Disney.
Decades of retro game collecting experience leads me to agree :)
I’m about 6 years completely Amazon-free. A key component of the switch was realizing a lot of the random stuff I’d buy (mostly cycling equipment) is cheaper on eBay with faster shipping. The irony is that the seller is likely the same one on Amazon and the items would be delivered by Amazon Fulfillment Services.
Not sure what drugs you’re doing but I’m about 6 years clean now. One thing that helped me the most was rediscovering my passion for video games. I guess my advice would be to find a hobby or something to focus on and forget about the world for a few hours.
If you want to feel like you’re doing something productive, get involved in your local community. It’s very difficult to fight fascism at a macro level but building bonds and protecting those in your immediate vicinity makes more of a difference than it seems.
I deactivated Facebook proper years ago but still have Messenger active due to one group chat and the ability to contact many people I don’t have other contact info for. I don’t install it on my phone or access it on my desktop- only have it on my old iPad. Check it maybe once or twice a month.
If I ever get a new iPad, I’m probably going to cut it off for good.
Netflix has it through February 2025. Same with Better Call Saul, though that was weirder because it was on AMC+ while the final season aired but each episode only stayed up for about 4-5 weeks. Not sure of the rights on El Camino but that’s a Netflix original.
The bots were always there, the bot-to-human ratio is just much higher now
Same tbh
Fenneko!
So I’m a huge fan of The Smiths…
It used to be great for gaming news updates. Back when the feed would just be who the user chose to follow. Sure, the big stuff would make it to Facebook eventually but I felt it was a better product for breaking news.
Had Reddit Enhancement Suite on desktop and exclusively third-party apps on mobile since 2011. Saw the redesign for the first time earlier this year and was mortified.
Keeping Funimation? Aren’t they migrating us all over to Crunchyroll?
I went to probably every store in Akihabara hahahah. Super Potato is the most iconic chain, not sure what part of Japan you are in.
Oh man, I loved game hunting in Japan. If you haven’t, I’d recommend grabbing some Japan exclusive physicals like Super Robot Wars series, Okami, Final Fantasy & Ace Attorney. There are also a lot of Limited Run releases that have a Japanese/Asia region physical that are tens to hundreds of dollars less than the North American versions.
Applebee’s 2 for $20 is NOT a date!
Damn, I envy you for getting to experience them for the first time! I didn’t start until PlayStation 2 era so I’m in a more backwards order- did 7/10, 8, Tactics, 9, 12, 15, 7R before going back to 4 on PSP in 2020 and then Crisis Core & 16 earlier this year.
I have the GBA port of 1 & 2 but got bored at some point through 1. Also played maybe half of 13 when it was released according to Xbox achievements. I remember liking it actually but was a huge pothead at the time so my memory is a bit fuzzy. Have a strange nostalgia for it though so I plan on going back soon.
I’m excited that Zelda gets her own play style and isn’t just a reskin of Link. We all saw how Zelda’s Adventure on CDi turned out.
