Definitely not that cold today. It was maybe 60F (15C). Puppers was just fine, though those snow boots made for some awkward waddling when I went to say hello. Funniest shit I’ve seen all week!

Murderbot of course (Martha Wells), also The Wayfarers series by Becky Chambers. Also her novella To Be Taught, If Fortunate
Hmm. It’s not silicone free, though, and seems to react with hair dye, so maybe use with caution.
If you’re sensitive or are allergic to SLS, ysk that it’s in damn near everything - not just toothpaste and cleaning supplies, but also laundry detergent, soap, face and body wash, shaving cream, and bubble bath. It also goes by a plethora of other names, so that’s fun.
I never thought of Murderbot as a her, either. Possibly this is because I listened to All Systems Red as an audiobook, and the narrator was male, but even without that, it just seems a little more masculine to me. (It? Seems weird to call it an it. Maybe a they instead)
Not that it matters, of course. I just find people’s projections fascinating, is all!
I need to learn how to do this. Not the borrowing books part, I’ve got that down. It’s the other part I don’t know how to do.
I’m curious what you’ll think of The Mountain In The Sea
I recently finished The Psychology of Time Travel, not sure if you’ve read it, but it was really good and interesting! And totally unique
I was hoping someone would mention this series!
Voting for Leviathan Wakes as it’s the only one I’ve read so far. That being said, the majority of these titles are on my list of books to read, and the ones that aren’t, I’m looking into now!
Just about to start “The Three Body Problem”. It’s been on my list for a while now, so looking forward to it!
Just finished an interesting and totally original read, “The Psychology Of Time Travel” which is basically a time-travelling murder mystery.
Thank you for this!
Oh, interesting. That one has been on my want-to-read list for a bit now, glad to know it’s worth the read!
What sci-fi would you recommend?
This nearly-all-male list needs more diversity.

I loved this one! Such an interesting story. I love how he really nails humanity in it as well.
I’m partial to TST’s Seven Tenets, and they work for “laws of sentience” in a sci-fi universe as well.
