That would have been so helpful. Instead we burned through both of our mobile data so she could do meetings in the early morning, and would head the the library after to get everything else done (including anything we needed to look up because our data was over haha).
When we moved to a new town, we went to the library every day to work online until our internet got hooked up. The main branch in town has a switch that you can play upstairs, and a bunch of 3d printers. They even have the latest video games that you can rent; I wanted to give it a try but I’ve got too many in the backlog already lol.

What kind of companies are you applying to? I’m pretty sure if I tried this with most of the places I’ve bee in applying to in the tech field, they would just laugh it off and say they don’t have that information.
And its allowing for remote workers in Canada or the United States. Most tech jobs I see lately are the opposite, they want you to do more work than the role entails for less money than it should be making, and less and less of those jobs offer remote work. Lots of the jobs I have been applying for want you to do the work of a supervisor for the pay of a specialist.
But I thought that was the excuse we were using for why Reddit still has lots of users?

I finished everything in the base game for Just Cause 4 last year, and it was literally taking me more time to drive from one activity to the next than to do the activity. But of course there has to be 80 of them
Industrialization happened because of individual efforts to make the lives of workers close to them easier.
Not the main communities, but the smaller ones. I’ve had to resort to Facebook for getting information and news about teams I follow, and for new indie games that get released the only communities I can find are on Reddit.
The majority of communities I followed on Reddit did not live to Lemmy, or they did and got abandoned in a couple weeks. None of the sports or gaming communities I followed are here/alive here.

I would say no I wouldn’t take the pill, but that’s also based on my experience with ‘We Happy Few’, which seems to take the idea from this book and run with it. I would recommend watching some videos on the game maybe. It isn’t the greatest game of all time, but the story made me keep playing.
Story of Seasons is what Harvest Moons was from what I remember, so that makes sense. Honestly though, after Stardew these games feel a little lacking

A lot of people (like myself) need to step out of their comfort zones if we want Lemmy to get more conversations going. Yesterday I made a game thread in the community for my favourite NFL team; I was the only one who commented. But I’m going to try and make one for the game next week.
And yet they will probably say that subscribers are up, without mentioning that most of them are from countries like India where it costs $22.50 CAD per year.
Apparently it works really well on the current gen consoles, but not the ones it was initially released on.
I just went through the reviews it showed me since Saturday, and most of those are one and two stars. I saw a five star one that said ‘ouch my penis hurts’ and another that said ‘koolaid is good, I like the purple’. Both of those got reported.
It doesn’t show recent ratings though, but it has gone down to a 4.7 since you posted this.
I’m good friends with the lead singer of a band who has 225 monthly listeners on Spotify, which is pretty good considering they are in Cambodia.
