I’m an American biochemist, I also never learned the english system because my school transitioned to metric too fast. The mental burden of trying to cook using english units after working all day in the lab using that same part of my brain leads me to just not want to cook 95% of the time. But when I do cook I have optimized processes for my few simple recipes. When I bake I usually use a metric recipe or convert a English one, and optimize it before making a large batch of something.
Stringing like that coming out of nowhere happened to me when a got a batch of filament that wasn’t properly dried. It was so wet I could hear the water boiling off as small pops when it flowed out the nozzle. I went through all the calibration stuff but nothing helped until i dried out my filament.
Do you hear pops when the filament flows out of the nozzle?
Aldi rice cooker. $18 and the most used tool in the kitchen
Also Nintendo, put that Wii U in the trash along with your ds and never mention them again, btw here’s a port from those systems for $60+.
It tastes like ass, but over time you grow to enjoy the taste of ass, and eventually you prefer the taste of ass .
I eat tacos bell
If you live near a college campus, check out their recycling center or campus surplus. Lots of IT departments just toss UPS when they upgrade equipment regardless of battery status. I like to grab APC ones because the battery replacements are easy to find and there’s usually a YouTube video for the exact model with someone refurbing it.
I haven’t found an article yet that can actually articulate the problem with 23 and me right now, and actually did research into it or even read the terms and service. The problem with 23 and me is that they are not maximizing the share holder value of the data they are sitting on. The CEO wants to keep the company in line with the principals they were founded on which is to protect the privacy and data of their customers, while using opt in studies to build data sets that can be studied or sold.
Investors want to enshittify the company, and have been organizing a campaign against to company to try to drive it into liquidation to buy the data, even though the company is profitable. I wouldn’t be surprised is they are funding these weekly omfg 23 and me bad articles.
Rtx 3070
Upgraded my highschool family desktop I took to college with a GeForce 8800 GT , used until I build a new pc with a Radeon 7970 GHz edition, which was replaced with a rx580 after the card passed away from light coin poisoning. Desktop is now running unRAID and my new main rig has a gtx 3070 in.
If you live near a college, check their surplus or recycling. I got a brother printer for the low price of fixing a paper jam.
I’ve been buying used 12tb HGST from Amazon for $80.
My alignment is neutral good
Im the one that was paying for Netflix for my family, but the password crack down motivated me to learn how to build a server and go full arrs. They had a good thing going, but now that $26 a month will be used to buy hdds.
Lol yeh but it’s partially funded by money saved from canceled subscriptions.
I’m a noob, I started 2 months ago with immich and tailscale. Now I have an unraid server, it’s a slippery slope.
That’s probably more of a reason to get her vaccinated. Those topical flea and tick meds are rough. We got our cat vaccinated even though she was 100% indoor because she used to get too sick with topicals and liked to cuddle the dog.
My Rx580 has basically been on continuously since I bought it in like 2017/18. I used it to mine when I wasn’t gaming until it became unprofitable, then to process sequencing data for my dissertation project while not gaming, and now it’s in my server.
