3·2 months agoI was in the US two weeks ago and went up and down with Uber. Five families, two with iPhones and three with Androids. I didn’t notice anything special. In fact, I took a ride cheaper than my Android friend. We were going back to the airport and to a certain terminal. They wanted to go to another. When he decided to change to my terminal, the price lowered to mine.
It became his Moby Dick.
God’s eye? Why not Jesus’ wheel? We could just say “Jesus, take the wheel!” And the car would engage the self driving mode.

21·7 months agoMaaannn my Masters Dissertation was on Distributed SQL, 25 years ago.
My first job was building computers with old parts. A guy needed MS Word for work but didn’t want to buy a new computer or upgrade his 386SX (25Mhz iirc). It had like 20MB of disk and I don’t recall the RAM. So he asked me if I could try. So I did. I managed to install DOS, Windows 3.1 and MS Word. I don’t remember how long it took to boot, but I remember that it would take 6 seconds for a pressed letter to appear on the screen.
Yeah, let’s blame the victim.
So, is r/celebnsfw closing? Because it’s exactly what it is. Guy was probably the only human in a sea of bots posting there.

I have the AirPod pro. It has a feature called transparency, where it transfers the ambient sound into the ear, plus the music, so it should be like you aren’t using anything. The problem is, the frequencies are not the same. I start hearing louder noises in higher frequencies. I think I understand what you go through with the air dryer.
