I tried and disliked both of those. They worked fine they just felt bad. Bad to digging around for clients.

Dump configs to backup drive. Pray to the machine spirit that things don’t blow up. Only update when I remember. I’m a terrible admin for my own stuff.
I use sway, and for the life of me can not get steam link to display my games. I have tried so many things. If I use flatpak steam it works, but it breaks remote play together, which works fine not flatpak! I can get them both to work with KDE Wayland as well. It’s frustrating but also not a huge deal.
I use my personal computer as a work PC. But I run a VM for the work stuff. It’s great.
This is the same for me and my family. It’s such a great feature to have and worth not seeing ads. I feel like supporting the platforms I use is important to me.

I’ve been tinkering with it lately and really like it as a shiny alternative. Might switch to my primary if I can get some real tinker time. Having a young family makes it hard to have hobbies!
I just got a 2024 Kia Niro Wave EV! Hopefully that means this thing doesn’t give us problems!
We bought an EV recently and the dealership told us the Market Adjustment was the easiest thing to negotiate away.
Yea this is fucking wild and pathetic.
Possibly it was low hanging fruit. Easy to implement, and it gives people a feature pretty much everything else has.
I am currently reading A House With Good Bones by T. Kingfisher. I love her other work so I am excited to read this and the first few chapters read easily for me which is nice.
On a more SciFi note I just finished Artifact Space by Miles Cameron and it was decent. The protagonist is kinda annoying with the “I’m an idiot” thing but is pretty much good at everything they do. The author also goes into a lot of details on stuff that doesn’t feel important to the story so it kinda felt like a slog to get through some of the earlier parts.
I heard about odysee a while ago but it felt dirty using it because of the huge amount of crypto and conspiracy content on it.
I just recently set up jellyfin as a way for my family to access the stored media outside of my house. Our current Networking setup doesn’t play nicely with VPNs so this was an easy way to do that.
I use a virtualbox vm for work. Linux desktop runs a windows VM with Windows 10 and all my work stuff on it. I love it, its been very reliable. Its mostly simple though, it doesn’t need to be super speedy, just needs to house my orgs mandatory vpn and av so I can connect to my work stuff.
Anytime someone asks me with help picking out a laptop I say that Lenovo will be great and so far I haven’t been wrong.
But I want to stream my screen, or participate in watch parties. Do these features work with bridges?
I would love to switch to matrix. But discord has a lotnof features matrix doesn’t even the half baked Linux client supports. But the bigger problem would be convincing my friends to move over.
