You mean they’re going to turn Androids into Chromebooks.
Honestly, it sounds horrible, but for people who don’t have a PC, I guess it could be a benefit.
if they’re on a VPN, it doesn’t matter if their ISP looks into it. and with the plethora of streaming apps out there today, it’s uncommon if a customer isn’t downloading dozens of GB of data every day. just a single movie on netflix is several GB right there, and if you’re the sort of person who is bingwatching shows, you’re going through dozens, maybe even a hundred or more gigabytes daily if you’re a real couch potato.
and if your ISP did care enough to investigate why you were using a VPN, all you would have to do it tell them you’re watching netflix and there’s nothing they can do to prove otherwise unless your VPN is shit and is leaking your DNS.

Yeah, it says on their website you can export it from any Bitwarden app, and you can also do it from the CLI if you wanted to for some reason.
Probably be easier in case of emergency to do it from the browser extension though, since you’re gonna have to set up the Vaultwarden server anyway and import the data.
EDIT: So just to check, I installed Vaultwarden, and I was able to export the vault from both the browser extension and the iOS app, on top of the web UI.
If you have a catastrophic data failure, then you can just use the vault stored on a client to restore it, even if you don’t have backups.

Nah, it’s not an ad. It’s just shit.
Yeah, every time I use a program for free, it really makes me think “man, if only I could shell out over $100 a year for this”. Such a problem I have.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer person.
The people this sort of device is targeted to either already know how to do something like this, or they’re the sort of people who would be eager to follow one of the many guides online. The prepper community is also a DIY community, by nature.
That’s a shockingly bad price, considering the storage. You could put this together yourself for less than half that price. Maybe even a quarter of the price, if you grab used stuff from ebay.
A cheap solar panel can be gotten off Amazon or your local tech store if you have one for around $50. More than enough to power something like this, I would imagine.
At least while it’s sunny out.
I’m reminded of the people who misidentify poisonous mushrooms each year and die from it.
You live in a country filled with people who voted Trump into power. You’re surrounded by assholes, and if you don’t think so then you’re either an asshole with them, or a blissful idiot. I’ll leave it to you to decide which.
Shit, I didn’t just pirate all the movies and TV shows I consume, but I also stole the server that hosts my Servarr stack that I download them onto from my last corporate job.
Yo ho ho, mateys, and a bottle of VPNs!
I’m also an American, and this is 100% accurate. My countrymen are assholes, and the only thing they’ve ever cared about are problems that directly affect them.
You can’t steal ideas, they don’t belong to anyone once you share them.
If they’re being that picky, it’s because their PC definitely can’t handle it lol
SearXNG, Forgejo, Linkwarden, Vaultwarden, copyparty, all the Servarr apps, qBittorrent and SABnzbd for downloads, Syncthing, Mastodon, and all the various containers like databases and other tools that support the aforementioned.
