I was taught the Philippines was a US territory. I just learned last night that hasn’t been true since 1946. I went to school in the 90s.

Lemmy lately has been on an outrage fest it’s getting kind of exhausting. Topics in just about everything I follow are almost all outrage with out critical thinking.

Honestly, I wasn’t going to get a camera. I don’t really play with people I know often enough to want or need it. Then they showed this, and I am probably getting it regardless. Too cute. Hope it works with a regular computer, and I’ll use it at work.

Thanks. I can def do that on my phone. Don’t know much about how to do it on Apple TVs or Rokus but I very seldom use them for YouTube anymore anyway.

Any suggestions where to go? I mostly watch warhammer painting content such as tutorials for techniques I don’t know and video game content either long form retrospectives to fall asleep or guides for what I am playing. I’ve tried to get off YouTube completely but these specific niches are all that’s left for me.

Yeah but isn’t PlayStation sometimes the upgrades included all the controller features and audio features that didn’t exist for ps4. Games like Death Stranding charged for their upgrades ($10 I believe) but it massively changed the feel of the game. Many other games were free. Put the disk in and it automatically installed the ps5 version, or you had to click something on the shop and it upgraded. Other than death stranding every game that I did an upgrade path for was free and there were a lot of them.

I bought a single share when the ipo happened figuring it would be funny. Meant to sell when it was at 200 and forgot. Just checked. Still funny, sucks I missed out on $100 but I figure it’s going to keep going down. I’ll keep my one share. Reminds me to look.

Oh I agree so much. I’ve had 3 VW tiguans and they’ve progrssively gotten worse in quality. (Leases an 18 ,20, and now 24) each time the lease early buy back offer worked heavily in my favor and I am no longer in a position in life where I need to lease a vehicle so this 24 will be the last lease, but honestly my last VW as well.

On the topic of those dumb lights. The dealership I was at had a “price breakdown” for features and claimed those lights ‘only’ added 5 dollars a month to the monthly payment. I mean I know car dealerships will do everything for a penny but that just set me off.

It’s silly but I have no interest in buying or driving cars that don’t support CarPlay. I’m used to it. It is safer for me to drive with a gps/voice control system I am used to. When I’ve had to rent cars that don’t support it it has been awful.

I would feel the same if I was an android user with Android auto.

I do not think every car needs their own system when one’s based on the devices we already use exist. Pisses me off.

I also wish someone would make a base model style EV I don’t need all these stupid extra features. I recently test drove a VW EV and wasn’t amused with the RGB door lighting. What a waste of money. I just want a vehicle to get from A to B.

I use it when writing emails fairly often. I get all my thoughts out and realize the order isn’t how I’d like. At that point if I’m holding the mouse, why not.

Are filters broken or am I using them wrong? For example I previously filtered the phrase “PlayStation lifestyle” to block that particular website however I am still seeing its posts since updating and re entering my filters.

I mean the first sentence answered the question. It was available for a limited time due to 35th anniversary. It’s a dumb reason but the answer is right there.

Interesting I just saw another handheld Linux device on YouTube earlier today that is launching soon. Namely the Pilet. I’m kinda interested in something like this. Though I’m not sure for what.
