He was ok with people but was usually crashing off of something and trying to find places to sleep during the day. At that time (2008/9-ish?) he just sort of gave off a weird hippie dude vibe and talked about the navy a lot.
Holy fucking shit! I never looked closely at this guy or ever caught his name but I worked (briefly) with this piece of shit. He was fired after a couple of weeks for sleeping on the patio furniture in uniform in the middle of the sales floor.
Pros and cons like most things. I enjoy the more overall laid back crowd that seems to be a little on the older side compared to Reddit. Sticking with Reddit though there’s just less of everything, less content, less people, and less trolls. This however is not necessarily a bad thing overall though (especially the trolls) given that the content here is less diluted and more valuable, same with the discussions.
Like many have harped on though Reddit kind of turned itself into an answer hub so even without an account anymore I still on occasion need to go back for a solid answer on something. I’m sure given time that will change but for now I’m still hopping fences.
How in the hell is this good? Whether you agree or not this is only inviting potential harm and violence against these people. As if things weren’t bad enough with the political climate here. Once again fear is being used against those with a differing opinion.
So Chunks from Starfield pretty much?

Interesting and useful in certain situations for sure, my only concern is the workers well being. It’s rough enough hearing a person panicking over the phone and it’s another thing entirely to witness an emergency situation in real time. Trauma therapy is going to need to be mandatory if it isn’t already for this sort of thing.
The other potential is the use of video/questioning operators over video evidence taken during and emergency call. I’d say as a whole this is a good move that does open a couple extra doors of caution.
Nope and I really wish nobody had still.
