I was an idiot and read it as .ro for Romania. Of course I know about Russia and the war.
Still I also wouldn’t comment on people posting .com-links, even though the US are fighting endless illegal wars for decades and the president is wrecking democracy for a police state.
Why?
Raspberry Pi 1b > DietPi > Pi-hole > Unbound <3
I have 1/3 of a 1 TB SSD for Windows, Linux and a free partition for random stuff each. With home finally on a second 2 TB SSD. This is great, so far.
This is not a book, but files to use in some kind of dictionary-app. AA is not a place for these kind of files, I’m pretty sure they won’t allow them over there.
Thanks! This sounded very promising but I don’t get any errors from git fsck
, so I have to keep looking for other solutions.
Since the update my pi-hole is stoll blocking stuff, but I can not reach the interface anymore. I’m on DietPi and use Unbound as well.
Wanna watch it with my 6 and 9 year olds soon. Is it that sad?! I skipped through it and it looked nice.
Let’s talk about that!
I was running Mint 21.3 using THIS script (tutorial) and it was incredible! It one-stop turned my (rather powerful) computer into an audio workstation. I just installed Bitwig and couldn’t have been happier. All my VSTs worked with Yabridge, which came with the script. It was super snappy and my projects where huge! I edited big projects in Davinci as well.
Then I switched to Mint 22, looking forward to using PipeWire and … it’s not great. I have latency and my old projects stutter. I feel like in missing something but I don’t know what it could be. Davinci is giving me errors as well, so can not use it right now. Need to look into it, don’t want to. It’s frustrating, but I don’t want to downgrade!
If you own (or rather inherit) 20 million and you invest them with an interest rate of 5% you earn 1 million a year without doing any work. You can buy every luxury you need with an income like that. So everything above 20 million is not wealth or security anymore, it’s power. And some people are attracted by it.
Are you telling me that Jeffrey Bezos is INTENTIONALLY attracting billions of customers with cheap stuff and then starts closing down his ecosystem? Why would he do that?!
Probably no, as its firmware auto-updates and they closed the jailbreak a year or two ago. But who knows, put it in airplane mode and check it.
Wait, rainbow capitalism wasn’t sincere?!
I absolutely agree. I use it at home for lots of different tasks and put it on my parents laptops as well. It might not be the hottest, most modern disto for the cool kids but it’s a great experience.
I have been buying second hand Pixels 4a’s for my family. To me, they’re the perfect phones. I put LineageOS with MicroG on them and use them without Google. I logged in my throwaway Google account to check if some of the IMEI qualify me for a battery swap, but it gives me an error when I enter an IMEI. Do you guys have an idea why this might happen? I’d love to get new batteries for free in them and use them another 6 years or so.
I also get very alienated by the “diversity” and “feminism“ modern Hollywood & Netflix cinema. It’s the same type of diversity and feminism that exists in corporate, where there is diversity in terms of ethnicity and sexuality, but only within class.
Are you talking about Rainbow Capitalism?
In theory, it would be much better to keep debating calmly without personal attacks. Giving up on friends and relatives will keep polarizing society and lead to a civil war in the end. I know this is difficult, when there is no common ground, and neither facts not science exist anymore.
A subscription model for hardware like bikes or washing machines would be interesting. If it breaks, someone will come and repair it. But subscription for software is a scam. I switched to open source solutions because fuck’em, that’s why! Breaking up with Adobe is pretty great. :)
