And I’m 100% okay with that, my goal in going here wasn’t for reddit to die, it was to have an alternative to reddit. And it’s fucking amazing, I’ve almost completely stopped using Reddit thanks to this amazing place. I only use reddit now for niche subs like my ebikes sub.
It’s crazy to think I was just an infant when lots of you folk joined reddit.
Idk if it uses max quality but XManager is great. I don’t use Spotify
I just use YouTube Music and patch it with ReVanced for no ads. I used to download all my music too but it became too much hassle and I didn’t have time for it anymore. My music taste is also quite obscure so its hard to find high quality audio files for it. I still download my favorite songs for when I lose service though.
I’ve tried the extension, it just didn’t compare for me.
I’ve been waiting for something like this again. Imagine being able to message your friends on Instagram from something like mastodon or lemmy, or vice versa (even though meta would never do that)
Firefox not having tab groups is the only reason I haven’t switched over, once they do that I’ll probably never use a chromium browser again.
It is an advertisement company after all :/
You make a pretty good argument here, never thought of it this way.
I’d love to but that would be giving reddit more traffic so I personally won’t be
How the fuck did you get so many (☉。☉)!
This was something I missed from reddit, the always relevant xkcd
I feel much more motivated to comment compared to post.
Is this supposed to say something? It’s a blank message on mobile and web
I’m genuinely surprised how quickly they managed to fuck up reddit this bad. How long did it take, a month?
Syncthing and Jellyfin are amazing
It’s probably XManager if I had to guess.
I’d recommend trying out XManager so you don’t have to download Spotify apks from shady websites. I don’t use Spotify so I don’t know how often it updates, but I’ve heard good things about it.
I used to despise the huge quick settings buttons when they first came out, but I’ve grown to really like them. I had to use an older phone without the new quick settings and I noticed I really preferred the new ones because they’re easier to press and just feel way more polished. I am upset that we don’t just have the option of choosing between either one though…
