Story time… A guy I used to work with hit me up out of the blue to ask if I could venmo him $20 and he’d venmo it right back. I, knew this proposition was suspect. I told him he could just have $20 if he needed it. I asked around, and apparently he’d been hard into drugs and asked a similar thing to a lot of other people. He asked if the company I worked for was hiring a few weeks later. “Sorry bro, hiring freeze.” (There was no hiring freeze). I also never sent him another dime.

He was theorizing that Q-anon was a Mossad operation based on this chart saying Israel has the highest quantity of posts after 2014. He’s fairly left leaning, and not one of the crazies on 4 chan yelling “the joos!” Having said that I have no idea if this chart is even legit.

It’s not not true. Elon was going to do it, but it got attention and they had to back down. I’m sure they will do it again but more quietly and ramp it up slower to not catch as much flack.

Yeah, I was an early adopter of a smartwatch. I had an android watch before apple watch was even a thing. One day, while on vacation in Croatia, I jumped off a boat into the Adriatic with it on, and those early models weren’t really waterproof. I kinda shook it off because like you said, I never really used or cared about any of the data, and I was kinda over it as a gimmicky, fairly useless thing. It was kinda cool to be able to read and reply to texts without taking my phone out of my pocket, but it wasn’t a game changer. Then my birthday came around and my gf got me a new smartwatch, so I kinda had to wear one again for a while. I wore it for a bit, and then one day, just kinda stopped charging and using it altogether. There is no wow factor with them imo.
