I’m running EndeavourOS on my Surface Pro 7. Only 2 things are not working, the camera and I haven’t figured out how to get rotation to work. I am using Wayland compositor with KDE Plasma and occasionally Hyprland.
The difference is this doesn’t solve any problems. It is just a new way to do the same things. It isn’t even any faster. At least the computers in the 80s were a faster way to do what we could do on paper or with older computers.
The benchmarks for the M3 have the single core and multicore performances way past similar Intel and AMD chips. Qualcomm’s mobile chips are still no where near Apple’s mobile chips. I do not believe for a second that Qualcomm will catch up to the M2 on their first release.
