Is there not some kind of law
Maybe. But nobody’s willing to enforce it anyway.

Best summation yet.
He’s not filibustering. He’s grandstanding.
Because it is.
I tried to appeal, because sure… if a community has rules, and I break them, I can own that. But the post had already been “removed by moderator” so I couldn’t even see what it said. It wasn’t even in my post history. I asked “The offending post has been removed, is there a way to see it so I can address the issue regarding my ban? I’m willing to admit when I’m wrong.” I’ve been banned before, I know how it goes.
Response: “Your appeal has been denied.” End of story. Not even a fair chance at appeal. Nothing I would have said would have mattered, because it was pro-Luigi.
It’s okay though, Reddit will be the next Twitter/X in a few months. Nothing of value will be lost.
They are trying to break the government beyond all repair. At that point they’ll say it’s the Democrats that broke it.
Their cult members will swallow the lie hook line and sinker, and continue to keep them in power. (Side note, this will be made easier by gutting all election oversight as part of the package.)
Meanwhile, all that tax money we paid into Social Security, SNAP, Medicaid and Medicare, Unemployment insurance… basically any program meant to help people, will flow directly into billionaire’s pockets.
They also instituted a site-wide ban against Luigi supporters… Ask me how I know.
Oh no anyway.jpg
13 year account here, also banned for supporting Luigi. I tried to appeal, but the post had already been removed so I didn’t know what exactly I said that violated the rules, and my appeal was denied. This was a post I made back in December, mind you. They went looking for a reason to ban a Luigi supporter. They did homework.
Somebody over there is really afraid of how popular Luigi’s actions are. I wonder why…
Can’t. Banned for a 3-month old post supporting Luigi.
This would be great, but the hard truth is this will get you executed in the street, and this country is no longer worth dying for.
It may reach a boiling point eventually, but for now, given the choice, I think I’d prefer to move house than be murdered by my own military.
