It’s actually all my fault, everyone.

I don’t have a stone basement, but it’s block, on a hill, with bare floor(rocks etc). We just fixed it all up with pump, membrane, dehumidifier etc. Get a good dehumidifier with an actual pump. Some say they have pumps, but they are super weak. Get a good one.

Before we fixed it up there was a decent bit of mold in the air. And things would collect dust then mold very quickly. So watch your stuff. Keep your nose open for mold.

Beyond that, every house is different. I wouldn’t have an issue doing what your trying to do. I’d probably just keep a door open when I was down there or something. I don’t have mold anymore, and humidity levels are good with the membrane, seal, and dehumidifier.

The whole reddit thing aligned with other events in my life that pissed my sensibilities off, even more than i can usually stand, and i have learned to stand alot. It made me realize how much of my life was at the whims of greedy fucks who I don’t agree with at all. Evolution through revolution I guess. woke me up in a way, a feeling that I’ve long forgotten tbh with you all. And that’s mostly because of all of you and your ideas.

Consciousness is a crazy thing. It’s such a unique state of being for matter to take, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Consciousness was, itself, a force that could be measured. After all, we as conscious beings can alter the world around us in everyway, only limited by our physical bodies. Perhaps Consciousness is it’s own universe, that we have only begun to understand. In my life I’ve experienced things I can’t explain, but I’d call much of it extreme empathy, like Consciousness is all linked, where with practice, thoughts, feelings, and vibration can be transmitted through it, like radio signals. Perhaps it’s more simple than that, or not at all, but I enjoy dreaming (:

Like before or during the creation of the universe, there was matter, and it’s opposite. They canceled each other out, but there just so happened to be a tiny tiny bit more matter than anti matter, so we have a universe largely made of matter. Would we even be able to tell a difference if it was anti matter that won out? -my vague recollection of a science channel show.

Creation itself is the battle between nothing, and everything, like a battery, it is one thing. Duality is an invention of man.

It’s my favorite thing to think about.

Yea that’s fair. I feel like the issue lies in education tbh. Our schools don’t teach us much about practical things like the relationship between external and internal forces. I’m not for these types of warnings, I just thought that was reasonable compared to what I was expecting lol

Thats actually reasonable. I think people are largely unaware of their own brain plasticity and how much any type of input affects our outlook and actions.

Ya they were rolling back mass deleted/edited comments. That was a huge red flag for me, along with censoring info about lemmy etc. I don’t need that in my life.

Upon my most recent browse, I have noticed a drop in engagement for sure, and my attention has been brought to many “how do you feel about X” comments that are poorly hidden bots driving discourse. Maybe I’m just more aware of it now though. I’ve definitely noticed a change though.

I was actually thinking about this the other day for some reason. AI scraping my own original stuff and doing whatever with it. I can see the concern and I’m curious where this goes and how a court would rule on a pretty technical topic like this.
