I have my phone set to DND at all times, and I can confirm that you can allow certain notifications to come through. Only important notifications and calls from contacts come in. My peace of mind improved quite a bit with this change.

I just tried chatgpt with all of these failure points–a 5-letter word that fits alphabetically between amber and amble (ambit), a sentence that ends in the letter R (it ended with “door”), and a poem that rhymes (aabbccbb). Loud and stupid are affectionate descriptors from my friends. I also struggle with volume after being too quiet for my early years and overcompensating in the later ones.

I’ve got ancient blogs and comments left on ebaumsworld from when the internet and I were still children. Every now and again I like to revisit the site and see the ghosts of the era. It’s probably been 5 or so years since my last visit. It’s a particular feeling for sure.

The headline/article aren’t about headset sales slowing. App development is slowing. I didn’t see anything about sales increasing or decreasing in article, but I did only skim it.
