I know somebody personally who had a cat climb into the dryer and die that way because they had already loaded it and then walked away and then came back and started it :(
It stalled the vote on Matthew Whitaker as Ambassador of NATO for 25 hours, which immediately happened afterwards and the vote passed anyways
For some reason nobody gave any suggestions for a client to use. If you are familiar with Apollo for Reddit, there is a spiritual successor here on Lemmy called Voyager: https://vger.app/
If you use a password manager it won’t fill credentials because it will be the wrong domain
Thanks for sharing. That was a very informative and succinct video

I don’t unfortunately. I also had that issue, and I had to switch my VPN to a random European country so I could even view the original URL to confirm I had the right link before I shared it.
Nah way dumber than that. I had the original Imgur file saved locally from when it was posted a few weeks ago, but I forgot it was from Imgur. I just searched Luigi Mangione and the name of the file and found one hit on Reddit using the URL lol

The watermark in the bottom right corner says KLING AI 1.6

I was going to complain in the comments that the article doesn’t mention anything about lockdown mode on iOS, but thankfully this eff one does. Thanks for sharing a superior article!
Because whoever curated this list doesn’t know what they’re talking about. I got as far as the web browsers and I immediately closed it.
I’m still on 17.7.1, but I suppose I still get the same Siri experience as everyone on AI riddled 18, and yeah there’s been a massive decline in Siri lately. For years I’ve been using dictation from the Lock Screen to send text messages by saying, “Tell [Person] message.” and ever since they started dabbling in AI, it hasn’t been working correctly, especially if the message I’m dictating is longer than a sentence or two.
Deluge always seems so underrepresented, but as far as I know it’s never had a version compromised with malware like some of the other popular clients. It also performs great when you are seeding over 1000 torrents as long as you upgrade to version two.
I got forklift certified at an office supply store that sold furniture. A coworker was spotting for me and wasn’t paying attention, and I bumped a heavy pallet of unwrapped boxed dressers stacked two high.
Unfortunately, two or three of them fell into the photocopy area where customers go. Thankfully nobody was in the area at the time, but it destroyed one of the photocopiers and a huge sign overhead.
The really spooky part was I posted about it on Facebook with a photo and the company in question actually contacted me through Facebook and asked me to remove it even though I didn’t mention them by name and my profile was friends only. This was about 15 years ago.
They did a Halloween one where it’s dressed up like a hotdog and a pickle messes with it lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rFqD1Np5P8
Apparently I already have that setting turned off so I’m not sure what the issue is. I’ve been having issues with the overlays like “find and replace” and “sort range” not appearing. It just randomly broke recently with no apparent change to plug-ins so I’m not sure what’s up. I haven’t bothered disabling plug-ins one at a time to see if one broke it.
I don’t know if it’s related, but I noticed very recently Google sheets quit working correctly on Firefox.
