Is it because *gestures broadly in liberal American*?
My advice is to not concern yourself at all with what right-wing folks want to get upset about when it comes to your art. Their bigotry should not influence what you want to create.
The best part about Trump is he’s brought out into the light what fucking horrible piece of shit Republicans are (and have been for decades) for the entire world to see. Our allies are absolutely watching very closely to what’s happening over here. We need to show them we can clean up our own fucking mess.
It uses AI to rearrange and resize content when you are printing from the internet. The example is pretty compelling, but doesn’t make up for everything else HP does.
Moved several states away. Hired a company to load the truck I rented, and the same company to unload at my destination. A few days before moving day they called and said they couldn’t commit to the reservation and cancelled on me, leaving me to scramble to find a new company to load up. Lucky I do and get to my destination without issue. They show up to unload and are not dressed properly at all. One of the two guys clearly doesn’t want to be there and it’s doing the absolute bare minimum each trip he makes. The other guy slips on the truck ramp and hurts himself. Decides the weather was too dangerous to continue (it had sprinkled a little bit like 30 minutes ago) and cancelled the rest of the move with literally all of my furniture still in the truck. I had to call around frantically on a Sunday morning to see if there was any other company that could come out immediately and finish moving. Thankfully I was able to find one and gave each of them a big tip for saving my ass.
Because people didn’t dress up as mermaids and go to cons and express how deep down inside they truly are a mermaid, and have a high likelihood of fucking someone else who also felt the same way.
I’m honestly wondering who you’re responding to with this. Of course the vulnerabilities are software. Why would they be hardware? OP talked about how he couldn’t update the software to allow him to access an app he wanted to use. They’re on iOS, and you’re talking about Android. Do you think developers don’t debug their software at all? 99.99% of devs aren’t intentionally creating vulnerabilities in their software. We’re not talking about web development?
Solid link, thanks for sharing!
Just because the phone companies should be doing that doesn’t mean that you don’t account for what the current case is. My personal laptop is over a decade old, and my phone is several years old too. I am absolutely a supporter of using your old devices as long as they’re still useful, but when you start to become vulnerable to security issues on a device you use consistently everyday, you need to fix that, whatever the solution may be.
I applaud you for using your iPhone 7 for so long, but seriously, it’s time to upgrade. I’m amazed you haven’t run into issues before now, and continuing to use devices that are so old opens you up to security flaws. You can get one that is a few years old for cheap, It will be able to access everything modern, and last you another several years.
Wholesome AF. Saving to read through them later. I don’t really have anything to add myself, unfortunately.
No, this is not normal. I would honestly look for a different general practitioner. I would start by just getting a full blood work panel done if you haven’t had that yet, and hopefully that will provide some insights right off the bat.
As I understand it, it’s not Twitter, but on TV. It’s a new service that is supposed to rival YouTube. As much as I would like to see that happen, fuck Elon. I hope it fails and costs him billions.
Florida Man would like a word with you.
Ask them what they like, and then ask questions about that topic. Children are the easiest people to make friends with. They will be excited that you asked them anything about themselves, and if you continue to ask questions about what they like, they’re going to adore you immediately.
when I was growing up
This is really the key. We’re all stupid and unaware of how things work and the particular goings-ons when we’re kids. There were plenty of shitty people running the tech giant companies back then, but we just didn’t realize the extent of what was happening.
Edit: The evolution of social media also adds a lot to this. We are both more connected to each other and society, and therefore more aware of BS think it’s pulled by corporations. Then, of course, you have folks like Elon Musk who seem to make a point of making sure everyone knows how big of a piece of shit they are, and how proud of it they are.
For anyone who is viewing this with a UI that doesn’t automatically play the gif unless you open it and is wondering why a picture of dirt is getting upvoted, do yourself a favor and open it.
Can we get a copy/paste of the email here?
I agree. Funny story, I wasn’t allowed to do code reviews at my current job for about 2 years because they thought my comb was too fine. Suddenly software quality is something they are really valuing and they’re allowing me to do code reviews again. Funny, that.
