Ding ding ding ding!! It’s telling that this announcement came out after it was disclosed that Google pays Apple 18-20 BILLION A YEAR to be the default search engine on IOS. Spez is trying to tap into that.

Just imagine, this ONE company out of the hundreds if not thousands pulling this same shit are brought into compliance (and by compliance, I mean what they ethically should be paying in taxes), then how much good we COULD be doing as a nation. I say that but also have no doubts that the elected officials will just use it as their personal piggy bank to fund their friends companies.

Not cheap, but not overly expensive. You are getting what you pay for without the privacy nightmare.

Ubiquiti is who I chose. Everything is self hosted, no service fees, good quality equipment and no extra frees for remote maintenance. The motion and AI detections work very well and of course all the products integrate seamlessly into their UniFi network equipment…BUT it’s more a whole network approach than just cameras.

There is a big difference between manufactured housing and mobile homes. Mobile home/Trailers are shit, plain and simple. Manufactured homes and homes built using the same material that a comparable house would use, but it’s made it pieces at a factory in a controlled environment to then be shipped to site where it is assembled.

Mobile homes are made to lower standards. They have shit for insulation, the wood is thinner…all around, they are made cheaply. Manufactured housing though, has a good shot at being better for the environment because they can produce them with much less waste.

I would use fire block since normal expanding foam is flammable. If I could get behind it, I would see if the hole was excessively large and if so, cut a piece of OSB to fit the space with a hole the correct size in it. Then I would bisect the piece of OSB (making sure to bisect the hole) so that I would be able to get it around the cables and refrigerant line. If the hole isn’t excessively large, fire stop caulk the penetration and insulate the best you can.

Really depends on access. Can goy access it from the backside? Quick and easy, but a little messy, expanding foam.
