They got their name because they’re the kind of casserole you bring to family gatherings. They got popular because of crispy cheesy awesomeness.
The wasabi goes over there.

Do I have to pick one? Shoestring fries, waffle fries, tater tots, home fries, steak fries, garlic mashed potatoes, potato pancakes made from leftover garlic mashed potatoes, curly fries, funeral potatoes, and Greek potatoes are all awesome. I’d also like to try to make patatas bravas sometime. I’m guessing they will also be awesome.
I really enjoyed the live-action One Piece series much more that I thought I would. Other than that, we’ll watch the occasional bad horror flick or goofy comedy.
It’s included with our cellular plan. If they drop it, I be returning to the high seas, yarr.
That sounds like the premise for a new Tim & Eric series.
Refurbs FTW! I scored a lot of good (but not cutting edge) electronics back in the heyday of TigerDirect.
I just read about this! The bowl of petunias was an incarnation of Agrajag. “Not again” referred to being killed by Arthur. Again.
It sounds like ChatGPT compiled that convo from bad animes.
It’s a rather flimsy door of thin sheet metal and glass that you often see on the outer side of a house door. In the winter, it provides a layer of dead air space that helps to insulate the house. In the summer, storm doors are often fitted with screens to provide more ventilation while keeping insects out. This is still common today, but was much more common before air conditioning was ubiquitous in the US. BTW, storm windows are also a thing, and are still common in the US for the same reasons.
I agree that it’s weather stripping. I’m just hear to see all of the Europeans reply, “Storm door?”.
“The Taliban prefers Twitter over Threads. So I’ve got that going for me, which is nice.” - Elon Musk, probably.
I say we counter EEE with FFF: deFedereate, Forget, Fuck 'em.
Weird. I gotta check out that Cookie and Kate recipe, though!
Thanks!
I’ve seen that as well. I unsubbed from subreddits like r/badcopnodonut, r/leopardsatemyface, and r/hermancainaward months before the API debacle out of outrage fatigue. It’s not that I don’t care about the injustice, it’s just that I got tired of the negativity from the spectacle du jour.
This article seems to lament that there’s not a ready-made option to jump onto as those that are available are in decline. Perhaps it will take time to build a new one, as those of us in the fediverse are endeavoring to do.
Next thing you know, we’ll be hearing that Huffman has hired Linda Yaccarino to be the new CEO….
Haha! Yeah, fuckin’ Linda, amirite?
Should I know who Linda Yaccarino is?
SNW was great out of the gate. DSC never found its footing with a “Riker beard” season like TNG did. Picard was a disappointment to me. There is a lot of internet love for Picard S3, but I found the writing to be lazy and inconsistent with respect to both canon and years of character development JMHO, though. I won’t yuck your yum if you enjoy it! :-)
Using LYNX on a monochrome terminal in the university computer lab. Yes, I’m old.
