does the desktop environment add the 1px border? I can’t remember which ones I used that had that but snapping windows to full or to the split regions or even manually to each other would leave a gap until I found a really obscure setting for the border gap.

I’d believe it if up to 0.6% of artists made millions off a single low effort ‘artwork’. What is even being considered an artist here? Paint? Movie/Game? Strictly one-off millionaires? What is working class here too? Working at all or within a specific income range?
I worked industrial steel up until I got injured and in the early apprenticeship phase plumbers I knew that were working about as long as I had were making more than me, but we were all well above grocery store clerk earnings.

This is kinda what I’m currently doing. Everything manually and several times 20-60gb later the file is junk for one reason or another. It would be handy if there was some kind of release group ranking but I haven’t seen it if it exists, and the odd comment with peoples favourites are mostly names I’ve only seen once or twice if at all. Then many of the groups I’ve picked out of the hat have inconsistent quality.
I guess I’ll just have to keep going until I have my own ranking list.

i had a display that worked with just a usb c to c cable. I could even c to c a battery to the second port on the display and it would charge the switch while gaming on work breaks

I can’t even get rgb control on a 7800xt. It has a teal/purple/off switch though so I can go dark mode and just be sad about my permanently rainbow ram that works in openrgb in windows but not linux.
The first point of bazzite and other atomic/immutable distros is to prevent such breakages. updates aren’t applied over your existing installed packages, the base read only part is updated and your layered packages come after if you even have any. A kid’s computer won’t need it though. Most of my installed software is flatpak, appimage, or brew. I have maybe 3 packages installed via rpm-ostree. If I ever need anything not possible this way it’s not a job for my gaming pc.

driving regulations and enforcement should just be stricter on humans and self driving can stay as trains separated from cars,bikes, and pedestrians, which should all be separated from each other as well.
networking is already a higher hurdle IMO
probabaly full replacement of the motor controller and user facing hardware. basically a diy ev conversion using tesla motors but converting the tesla itself. you would lose features but they would be lost regardless.
