Definitely not how that works. All companies are taxed and they don’t get any special representation outside lobbying that they were going to do either way and churches do in fact put a lot of the money they should have payed in taxes into lobbying.

Natural resources it the prime example. I think all natural resources should exclusively be under democratic control and all profits from the sale of naturals resources goes exclusively to the government. Developed land like private housing gets complicated fast but ideally things should work like things work now but the government fulfills the functions of a landlord.

Nobody should be allowed to own land. You can build a building and that building is yours because you built it but you can’t make land and the only reason you own it is because someone in the past used violence to take it.

Community points isn’t supposed to be valuable. This is about making people start a vault/wallet and engage in crypto in a way that is fun and non threatening. They already tried it with the avatars but I doubt it got a whole lot of traction. At some point the real crypto currency will appear and suddenly reddit will have a platform with a couple of millions users that already has a wallet set up and ready. Just depicting a guillotine is not a death threats but depicting a person in it that exist in the real world is absolutely a death threats against that person. If that is not a death threat there is no such thing as a death threats on the internet and moderation is dead.

They have to look different from each other so that I can find them but otherwise no, I do not care how the icons look and I have never met another android user that does either. While there are third party launchers for android to customize your user experience and they allow you to change icons I have never met anyone that uses launchers exclusively for that purpose.

The reason I am talking about iOS is because that is what we are talking about. iOS has a system to pay for app icons and Android doesn’t. Paying $5 for an app icon is alien territory for me.
