Hell yeah! I love seeing Mixxx getting new features.
Maybe even FOSS wrappers for the big services. Such as https://github.com/th-ch/youtube-music/
With your idea, does the service (eg yt music, Spotify) have to specifically support the API?

I might be wrong but - can’t you just normally install another OS on Intel Macbooks?
I use a cheap hdmi splitter and a cheap usb capture stick and it works very well, although I don’t use anything more than 1080p60. No idea how to get Elgato hardware working, though. They don’t seem to have great Linux support.

The difference is, that you’re using something for free, and you can disable this very easily.
I love that he finally talked about it. He shortly mentioned the switch to Linux a while ago, in a gaming video, and Im excited to see if this makes Desktop Linux a bit more popular.

Idk, use whatever desktop environment with whatever theming suits you, there’s a seemingly endless supply. and if that really doesn’t work, try to make your own, i guess!
I think they should make ard, zdf and arte open source!
