Do you really get rewarded for working hard? Every time I’ve gone above and beyond for my job it becomes and expectation with no increase in pay. There is no reward for us “no skill” jobs that somehow are the very foundation of this god forsaken societal system we uphold.

When exactly would that be? I gotta add it to my calendar.

I’m just trying to do something small to change the cultural milieu so that folks don’t feel that work has to come with some sort of punishment attached to it. It’s nothing personal, I’m just being a pedant. Have a good one!

I feel like we’re at the point where WFH workers can work from home for four days for more pay.

The states don’t have the class consciousness necessary for something like that.

Slightly related: I just assume any business that operates on a cash-only basis is commiting tax fraud.
