Just because it’s a big company doesn’t mean it isn’t a scam. Just look at how big some MLMs get.
American here and still, WTF‽
If they don’t have a job then how are they going to have money?
How does someone have a vibrant diverse social life with no money?
Yes? If I could get everything in one place then I would happily pay for that. I don’t pirate to save money. Saving money is just a nice sideeffect. I pirate because it’s literally more convenient than juggling 15 different services.
If he had the right plumbing then a zip tie would have also worked.
Yes but if you reply to a clone bot, it’s not like the clone bot is going to reply to you back. The fact that replies are cloned doesn’t change the fact that noone is actually there and you’re just talking to a wall. I use social media to interact with people. If I wanted to see redit posts and not interact with people then I would just browse reddit without an account.
It has been done several times and the concensus has always been that people hate it. Check out lemmit. They do exactly that and because of it most instances have defederated from them.
Lemmy doesn’t have the userbase of reddit. If you start just cloning posts from reddit then pretty soon everyones all feed only consists of dead bot made posts. Cloning shit from reddit just turns lemmy into a ghost town.
To be fair I’m sure most COBOL devs are on the verge of dementia.
I once quit one of my antidepressants (venlafaxine) cold turkey and got to feel my brain throb nonstop for a month straight.
Cows also tend to be very curious. If you walk into a pasture and start doing something weird then most of the cows will usually run over to see what you’re doing.
It could have just been a person running through the woods and the cows were running after them to see where they were going.
Technically yes, but in the current political climate phrases like your initial one are frequently said by right wing wackos to alude to various protected classes indirectly. For example. With your initial comment
The first thing that pops into my head isn’t billionares, it’s alex jones ranting about “the jews” and “the world order”, because the way you wrote that comment had a lot in common with the way those people talk when they’re trying to not say the quiet part out loud.
