We here in the Apple Garden know that Apple takes all our usage data and trust then that they are used anonymously. But Apple has no access to data when it is encrypted, they even warn you when you encrypt your data that you need to safe the keys yourself, they can only delete everything if you lose them.

I was in a similar situation, but I got a MacBook M1 for literally everything but PC exclusive gaming, and I kept my gaming rig dual booting windows (on the HDD) and Pop!_OS (boots automatically, saved on SSD).

Why did I get a MacBook? I just wanted it. I‘d probably throw SteamOS on the gaming rig one day and use steam-link with an Ethernet cable to stream the games to the MacBook.

And yes, Linux is really easy to use nowadays. I’ve been thinking of throwing a lightweight distro onto my parents laptop. They only use Firefox so they won’t even notice it lol

Used to drive them to and from school for some time. No, we do not need or even get any special training. Yes, I did have from learning disabilities, trisom, trauma and those in wheelchairs I need to lift in their seat everything up to walking potatoes that needed to be physically restrained not to hurt themselves or anyone around.

From what I’ve seen is that those who have friends tend to do better, also, if the IQ difference is too much, the dumbest kids will drag down the experience of everyone else, even in small 4 kid 2 teacher groups.

I got a Mac and wanted the mouse. It is shit. It is the worst mouse I’ve ever had. It’s even worse than a $10 mouse with squeaky buttons. That thing cost 3 times as much as my 12 year old daily driver and even has less functions than my old mouse, even on Mac. My mouse has 5 extra buttons which I programmed to mimic the Mac specific actions and this old thing does more Apple only shit than the Apple mouse 2.

I even fixed the Magic Mouse 2‘s feet myself. The original ones don’t glide at all, so I fixed it by covering the feet in regular cheap ass clear duct tape. Now it glides.

I’ll never buy an apple mouse ever again.

I like the keyboard though since it’s the only high quality membrane keyboard that’s not Logitech I could find.

I fixed this by using Debian and Firefox. The only thing my parents do on the PC is stuff on the internet. It’s just important that it opens itself after the startup. They love the speed of it.

I even paid for the pro version. They deserve it!

I don’t hate cars, people, and what they do, I hate their ideology. I don’t tell them what’s right and what’s wrong, I explain to them what problems I see, and nothing else. I‘m driving an old okayish car I’ve fixed countless times myself, the car, with all costs, is cheaper than any flat within 30 minutes of biking to work.

Layoffs after the release of the game, the developer team got layed off and don’t want the publisher to make money off them.

There was this one guy who stole cars, drank, had his own clique and was kind of an anti-hero among us smaller kids. He didn’t care what the teachers said, even the principal couldn’t do anything. They all skated, had bikes, hung out at the local halfpipe. They smoked cigarettes on the school property behind the trash containers. They were prohibited from entering any type of festive the school hosted but always ended up being there and drunk. He sold cigarettes to minors, while being a minor himself. Gosh we had so many papers talking about lost cars, stolen cars, wrecked cars etc.

When he finished school and immediately got a job you didn’t hear anything from him anymore. Now he has a wife, kids and a house.

He literally was that one rebellious kid from the movies who got his shit together.

All that happened before 2007, and now I feel old. Thank you.
