All my homies got green globes
Never heard of this, but now I’m remembering Pappyland. I don’t recall a thing except a giant pencil
It’s unsettling. The uncanny valley of the animal world
Seriously. This isn’t real, right?
So, I will have to look later for details. There is a reddit thread I found with a list of IPs to white list that will allow you to do everything with no VPN. Then you bind your torrent client and other downloaders to the VPN. This is what I’m doing currently, and I have had no issues
Edit: I forgot this was Mac. I don’t know if that will make a difference
Free heckin’ media, yeah!
Not in jdownloader
Use a VPN to get a new IP address
Thank you for the heads up!
okay lemme grab my
coathoodie
Never give up, never surrender!
I’m using my last month of Game Pass before switching to Linux. I just want to thank everybody here and Lemmy wide for being so friendly and helpful about all things Linux. You guys have taken out all the stress and worry from the transition
I lost my Switch in a fire unfortunately, but thank you for the heads up. Now I’ve gotta figure out what emulator made it the farthest before shutting down
I quit using shops years ago because they all ended up being paywalled. It’s been shown time and time again that ‘unrelated donations’ is not a loop hole. Most shops weren’t even unrelated. You had to donate an undumped game or eshop credit towards one. I understand obtaining the games in the first place isn’t free, but taking money for anything Nintendo related is a bad move, and will be seen as selling their copyrighted material in a court of law
I’m also not ashamed to say, I pirate to get free shit. You start charging, I’ll put in more effort to get it for free. There are ways to run your own shop, which I did for a while, but I got tired of messing with the network and just used USB install over DBI for the most part
Awesome, I appreciate the help
Perfect, thank you!
Is setting up a VM in Linux any different than doing it in Windows? Would I just copy the files over when it is finished?
Are these launchers that provide a wrapper similar to Steam and Proton? Do you recommend one over the other, or is it dependent on game?
The homie!
