Great, we should see many more companies accepting back everything they sell as recycling. It should be the norm.

Exactly, I was the same. This is the News that Twitter was good for, the live events.
I’d always check Twitter for the initial on the scene explanation of what was happening from local people. In my case it was a massive warehouse fire that I could see the smoke in the distance. Obviously there was nothing about it on the traditional news sites, but loads of stuff from local people on Twitter immediately.
Then afterwards you’d just read the proper News outlets for the full official details after the fact.
All Social Media = Plastic and Fake.
Great, Mastodon is really starting to be able to replace much more of Twitter now. The only thing i miss from Twitter was the local accounts I followed for info, will be a while before they all abandon and move over, but hopefully in the end.
Yeah in most places I’ve shopped they don’t even have staff covering the self checkouts so they obviously don’t care that much.
The quality of Lego helps, you shouldn’t ever really need to be throwing them away. The problem I do have with them is the excessive use of single use plastic in their packaging. So many plastic bags in all their sets. I’m sure they said they were sorting that out but I’m still getting packages full of plastic bags! It can’t be that difficult to sort that out and repalce those with some cardboard boxes or paper bags!
Very tempted by this. Now that phone technology has plateaued I no longer see the need to get the latest flagship every few years. Sustainability is now much more important factor.
Big fan of Star Blazers. I did eventually watch that years later, but my first anime exposure was via a VHS bought from a charity shop of a series called ThunderSub.
Very similar to Star Blazers, don’t know if they were related in any way.
