I have a Mitsubishi Electric “MSZ-GL06NA” and live in NYC.
Why does the heat pump never stop when set to the dehumidify mode?
The apartment just keeps getting colder and colder but never any drier(?).
When will it ever stop or Does it need servicing?
I’m curious if it actually has a humidity sensor or what the humidity is set to. In Florida it’s basically impossible to get a dehumidifier to 35% and 40% is possible under certain conditions.
If the apartment is getting colder it will be harder to extract water from the air because the air can’t hold as much water
Maybe that’s the issue, the apartment gets locked at a specific cold temp and can’t have water extracted anymore.
