Hi everyone ! Since Arcadia’s announcement, things evolved !
Here is a condensed list of the progress:
Note: Arcadia is not ready for production yet
We also welcomed diceypotato as a new member of the Github organization !
Want to know more ? Chat with the devs and community ? Contribute ? Head over to the discord server !
Yes more devs are still welcome and wanted, the more we are, the funnier it is :) So come and let’s build this great platform together !
If you like this project, leave a star on the repo !
Not sure I entirely understand this, would this function as a replacement for the *arr stack?
From the first line of the github repo :)
Arcadia is a torrent site and tracker, aiming at providing an easy to setup and configurable, highly organized and content agnostic platform.
I read that, but my question still stands.
It is a full solution to run a private tracker and website, with very good organization, whatever the content
Got it, thanks.
At a glance it looks like software to roll your own pirate bay equivalent? Not sure why you’d want to do that exactly when there is bitmagnet to sit on top of the torrent dht?
I prefer sqtracker’s UI, but I’m glad to have other options to choose from (and memory safety with Rust is a pretty neat bonus)!
from what I’ve seen, sqtracker doesn’t have much organization besides categories (and maybe tags), right ? there doesn’t seem to be any grouping of torrents by title
That sounds about right. I don’t use it very actively but I do have it set up. I might set this up as well to have them side by side.
feel free to hop on discord if you need any assistance :) arcadia is not production-ready yet though
