I’m legit surprised to find out this guy is vice president of the DNC, I definitely agree with the idea we need younger people in politics and doing something about it, but oh boy do I not want the political version of Wil Wheaton to be responsible for it.

I have no factual basis to say he creeps me the hell out, but it’s like Lin Manuel Miranda making himself the lead in Hamilton or something, in that way that he believes he’s a really great actor who deserves to be the lead yet everyone else in that show performs circles around him.

Idk dude feels like a pod person or something and I’m not sure if maybe I’m just crazy instead

Nah, I don’t know get those vibes. Do you have a video or something that makes you feel this way? Where does the vibe come from?

Go fuck yourself. This is someone who was a child when he watched his friends die to a school shooter. And then faced the worst that the rightwing noise machine could throw at him as they accused him of being a crisis actor and denied that the event happened at all. He has been attacked by politicians and media since before his voice changed. So fuck off with your milquetoast judgments about how something seems a bit “off” with his public persona.

I don’t really know much about him, and I can’t dispute your personal gut feeling. But I’m not familiar with anything that gives me this feeling.

For what it’s worth, I think in general that if you say, “I just don’t quite trust <name>. I didn’t know why, but they creep me out,” about pretty much anyone in public political life you can probably find a basis for that over a long enough time scale.
