it was that way with vanced. once the original devs stopped, the revanced team took over and continued development. i fucking love FOSS.

But forgive my ignorance: why forking Mihon and not just use it as is ?
According to the comment above, added functionality that’s not present in the original like adult sites. It was based off Tachy and now just moved to Mihon as the base.
Anyone know where to find updated extensions for western comics, like the readcomicsonline and xoxocomics?

It’s a reader app that supports extensions.
These extensions can be used to parse piracy sites, among other things, so a publisher went apeshit and harassed them into saying “fuck it”.
Mihon/Tachiyomi base with some specialized feature for certain adult manga sites.
