      I think it’s because they see their movements at ‘normal’ speed. We would look slow to them, they look sped up, to us.

        I’m not sure. The blue wings and the blue streaks on the breast make me think intermediate splendid fairywrens? They may also be hybrid fairywrens or molting males, which are apparently commonly confused for hybrids.
